4. Arrange collection from the lender and enjoy your rental.
5. Return the item to the lender and leave them a review.

How does lending work?

2. Let us verify you.
3. List your items for free. Upload photos and set your own description, pricing and location.
4. Get paid through our secure payment system after the rental is completed and the item is returned.

Is it safe to rent out my items?

Every member verifies their email, and owners can require phone and government ID verification before someone can book. You can add a refundable security deposit for valuable items, and every booking, payment and message is recorded on Renttory. See our safety guidelines.

How much should I charge?

Whatever makes it worthwhile for you. Look at similar listings nearby for a starting point.

What does Renttory cost?

Creating an account and listing items are free. When a rental is completed, Renttory keeps a 15% commission and the owner receives the rest.

How do payments work?

Renters pay online through Stripe when they book. Owners connect a bank account through Stripe and are paid after each completed rental. Renttory never stores card details.

What if there aren't any listings in my area?

Start the trend! Be the first to list in your area and all the attention from your neighbors is directed at you.

How do cancellations and refunds work?

Each listing shows its cancellation policy before you book. See the cancellation and refund policy.
